Featured on the Iberoamerican Fair of Art

The project aimed to study the landscape and light, taking Armando Reverón’s paintings as a starting point, contrasting them with the images produced by users on Instagram that were tagged with the hashtag #macuto. The work was commissioned for the XIX youth fair with the Fair of Iberoamerican Art and was awarded by the jury with a nomination for the PIVO residency program in Sao Paulo by the Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Collection. The work was later acquired for the collection of the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo Zulia.

The work is composed of 7 plastic sheets of 120x70cm which are suspended from the ceiling, keeping a distance of 20 cm between them. Each sheet has been perforated with a pattern corresponding to the analysis of the data in reference to the color.
